    What is your city’s identity?

    Beyond the visual city logo, the city’s identity is connected to the people, the streets, the schools, the attractions, the natural resources, the quality of life. (Example: Paris, France is Romance, Denver, CO is the Mile High City, etc.)

    What personality do you want the city to depict?

    The current personality can’t be erased. How can you respect it and progress?

    What brings people to the city?

    Do you have a rich history, a vibrant downtown, great schools, natural attractions, home town and neighborly feel? Expand on this to attract people to live, work, or visit who share the same values.

    How will you encourage your residents and businesses to participate and act as brand ambassadors?

    Including the community and listening to their feedback helps people understand and have a stronger connection to the vision and rebranding for the City. Surveys and online updates increase awareness and engagement through social media or email.

    How will you define success?

    The City vision may be to expand tourism, retain young workers, attract new industry, etc. Once this objective is clear, target audience(s) and marketing assets are selected to work toward the vision.
